The Labor Relations Committee regularly focused on the following issues: increasing the minimum wage, migrant farm-workers, family & medical leave, the North American Free Trade Agreement, drug testing, worker disability, right to know laws, providing guidelines for workers compensation, part-time workers, and child labor laws.� Belfanti served on this committee from 1987 to 2010.� He was Vice Chair from 1987 to 1992 and Chair from 1993 to 2010. Some files in this series were discarded because they duplicated documents found in the Labor Relations Committee records.� These included attendance sheets, voting results, meeting announcements, and copies of bills/amendments.
