An Act amending the act of March 10, 1949 (P.L.30, No.14), known as the Public School Code of 1949, further providing for sabbatical leaves, for causes for suspension, for the order of suspension and for the reinstatement of professional employees; authorizing students to attend the schools selected by their parents; prohibiting possession of weapons; providing for safe schools; providing for tuition grants; further providing for payments on account of transportation; further providing a local option for compliance with outcome-based education regulations; providing for charter schools and for basic education funding; and making an editorial change.
