The 1985-1986 Game and Fisheries Committee was chaired by Majority Chair, Russell P. Leterman and Minority Chair, Clarence Dietz (Republican). Michael Gruitza was Democratic Vice Chairman, Thomas C. Petrone was Democratic Secretary. Merle Phillips was the Republican Vice Chair.
Many of the meetings dealt with the recodification of the Pennsylvania Game Laws and discussions surrounding the drafts. Other bills such as those dealing with animal protections, rabies, and other license fees were discussed.
