Scope and Contents

An Act amending the act of May 17, 1921 (P. L. 682, No. 284), entitled "The Insurance Company Law of 1921," authorizing stock insurers to establish more than one class or series of shares and to permit different voting rights according to the class of shares; providing for the expansion of multiple employer trusts; providing for requirements relating to minimum capital surplus for certain insurers; increasing capital requirements for certain insurance companies; requiring insurance companies to disclose certain data; providing for the review of rate filings and for compliance with requests for data and information; providing for a liability underwriting services plan and for a notice of intent to withdraw; and providing for penalties.
