The 1985-1986 Insurance Committee, the Democrats were in the majority and the Republicans were in the minority. William C. Rybak served as majority chair. Walter F. DeVerter served as minority chair. During most of the term, the committee worked on House Resolution 46 which was to look at automobile insurance. Numerous public hearings were held across the state.
