The 1985-1986 Insurance Committee, the Democrats were in the majority and the Republicans were in the minority. William C. Rybak served as majority chair. Walter F. DeVerter served as minority chair. Nicholas J. Maiale served as majority vice chair, and Thomas P. Gannon served as minority vice chair. Some of the major topics discussed were insurance coverages, liabity insurances, TORT insurances, drug abuse and mental disorders--the new Automobile Insurance Law, and No Fault Insurance.
