Senate Bill 125 of 1997: An Act amending the act of August 9, 1955 (P.L.323, No.130), entitled The County Code, providing for an excise tax in certain counties, for appointment of auxiliary board of assessment appeals and for the Southwestern Pennsylvania Regional Renaissance Initiative; authorizing any third class county having a second class A city to enact a hotel tax for tourist and recreation facilities; repealing certain mandates imposed on counties; and discharging certain liabilities of counties.
