House Bill 1162 of 1981: An Act amending Title 66 (Public Utilities) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes, further providing for certificates of convenience and rate increases.

House Bill 1163 of 1981: An Act amending Title 66 (Public Utilities) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes, providing for the conversion of electric generating facilities from oil to coal or synthetic fuel in certain cases.

House Bill 1191 of 1981:An Act amending Title 66 (Public Utilities) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes, removing certain utilities from the sliding scale of rates provision; further providing for the construction of electric generating units, the metering of electricity supplied to churches and other places of worship, certificates of public convenience, certificates of need and reliability for major electrical generating facilities, the inspection and monitoring of certain facilities, the removal of certain utility facilities from rate base calculations in the event of extraordinary outages, the increased use of coal by electric utilities, the base rate, regulating billing procedures, requiring competitive bidding for purchase of coal by contract, the metering of electricity supplied to volunteer fire companies, the metering of electricity supplied to fire companies, landlord ratepayers and tenants, notice prior to discontinuance of service, management audits, notices of estimates of service charges and for citizen representation on the boards of directors of certain public utilities; fixing the qualifications of such individuals; establishing procedures for the selection of citizen representatives; prohibiting discontinuance of certain public utility service during certain periods and empowering the commission to conduct certain annual studies on federal tax credits and deferrals.

House Bill 331 of 1983: An Act amending Title 66 (Public Utilities) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes, providing for the conversion of generating units from oil or gas to coal and for the recovery of conversion costs; providing for the approval of the construction of generating units fueled by nuclear energy, oil or natural gas; and providing for the conversion of damaged nuclear generating units.

Senate Bill 641 of 1984: An Act amending Title 66 (Public Utilities) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes, allowing certain provisions for energy conservation or load management.
