Thomas Scrimenti should approach the destruction of grapevines in Pennsylvania with his constituents. He needs to encourage Governor Schweiker to push the federal government into action.

June 7, 2002, from Rep. Thomas Scrimenti, to Ann M. Veneman, Secretary U.S. Department of Agriculture. He is writing on behalf of constituents asking for prompt assistance in avertin an agricultural disaster. A severe frost destroyed 80 to 100 percent of the grapevine crop.

Growing Greener Program

November 8, 1999, from Rep. Thomas Scrimenti, to a constituent. He was opposed to the original House bill 1200, Governor Ridge's Growing Greener Program, however with recent amendments he is willing to support the bill.

Gun Control

November 15, 1995, from Rep. Thomas Scrimenti, to a constituent. Regarding the Special Session of the General Assembly on crime. The NRA affirmed and approved House Bill 110, which does not in any way encroach on gun ownership or the Constitutional rights.

February 22, 2002, from Rep. Thomas Scrimenti, to a constituent. Regarding the newly released magnetic strip and bar code on Pennsylvania's new drivers’ licenses and what the Federal government is tracking. He also addresses a new Vermont handgun law and whether Pennsylvania should adopt a similar law.
