WALTON, Henry F., a Representative from Philadelphia County; born, October 2, 1858 in Stroudsburg, Monroe County, Pa.; lawyer; assistant city solicitor, Philadelphia (1884-1890); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1891, 1893 and 1895 terms; reelected to serve the 1903 and 1905 terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1896, 1906); elected, Speaker (1895-1896, 1903-1906); appointed, solicitor, Sheriff’s office, Philadelphia County (1898-1902); trustee, Fairview Insane Hospital, Wayne County, Pa.; chair, Republican State Convention (1908); prothonotary, Common Pleas and Municipal Courts of Philadelphia; died, May 3, 1921 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania; interred, All Saints Episcopal Church Cemetery, Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania.
