STETLER, Stephen H., a Representative from York County; born in the city of York, York County, Pa., July 5, 1949; graduated, St. James High School, 1967; B.A., Drew University, 1971; Ripon Hall, Oxford, England (Canon Law), 1975; M.A., John Hopkins University, 1983; partner, D.E. Stetler & Sons; deputy secretary, Pennsylvania Department of Revenue (1987-1990); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1991 term; reelected to serve 7 consecutive terms thereafter; elected, Minority Policy Committee Chair (2003-2006); appointed, board, Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency (PHEAA) (1999-2006); resigned from the House, September 29, 2006; executive director, Pennsylvania Economy League (2006-2008); appointed, Secretary, Pennsylvania Department of Revenue (2009).
