Stetler & Sons; deputy secretary, Pennsylvania Department of Revenue (1987-1990); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1991 term; reelected to serve 7 consecutive terms thereafter; elected, Minority Policy Committee Chair (2003-2006); appointed, board, Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency (PHEAA) (1999-2006); resigned from the House, September 29, 2006; executive director, Pennsylvania Economy League (2006-2008); appointed, Secretary, Pennsylvania Department of Revenue (2009).
