Biography

Eric M. Roe was born in Chester County on October 15, 1987. He graduated from West Chester Henderson High School. He also graduated from American University and from University College in London. Roe was a fellow at the John Jay Institute beforer being a special assistant for the Chertoff Group. Before being elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, Roe was the administration analyst for for the Chester County Commissioners, Michelle Kichline. Roe was elected to the House in 2016 and served from 2017-2018. Roe was unsuccessful in his reelection for the House in 2019. His collection contains important legislation, many photos and speeches he made during his time in office

Scope and Contents

The papers of Eric M. Roe contain his legislative work during his term in office. His work on House Bill 2060 is incorporated which deals with domestic relations, also known as Act 79 of 2018. Roe also incorporates many photographs from school visitors in addition to photographs of special events. This collection also contains Roe's speeches during his term, including his farewell speech in addition to many press releases, newsletters and other media.
