Biography
Reizdan Moore became the first African-American parliamentarian
of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives upon his appointment
from 2007-2010.
He was an attorney for the House of Representatives for many
years, 18 years as the chief counsel of the House Democratic Caucus
where he coordinated the legal review of legislation, represented
legislators and served as in-house counsel on employment law and
contract matters.
He was a two-term member of the Harrisburg City Council and one
of 10 appointed members of the Capitol Centennial Commission in
2005-2006.
He received a bachelor’s degree in economics from Haverford
College and his law degree from The University of Pennsylvania.
