Fajt, Gregory C., 1954-
Biography
Gregory C. Fajt was born in Westmoreland County, Pa on November 30, 1954. He graduated from St. Vincent College with a B.S. in accounting in 1977, followed by his law degree from Duqesne University School of Law in 1990. Fajt was elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1990, 1992, and 1994. In 1996, Fajt ran for State Senate.From 2003-2007, Fajt was chief of staff, Pennsylvania Governor Edward Rendell. In 2009, Fajt was appointed President of the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board and appointed Commissioner of that board in 2011.

The collection includes potographs ranging from Representative Fajt's 1988 campaign for the 42nd District House seat, through his time on the State Caming Control Board. Additionally, it includes documents pertaining to Fajt's tenure in the Revenue Office and various budget hearings. The Collction also contains several oversized items, including framed awards, certificates, photographs, and other assorted meorabilia.
