Biography
Bernard Dombrowski was born in the city of Erie in Erie County PA, May 11, 1929. He attended Technical Memorial High School. After graduating High School, he joined United States Air Force from 1950-1953 and served in the Korean War. After returning from war, Dombrowski worked as a coordinator for the General Electric Company. In 1971, he was elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives and served 9 consecutive terms from 1971 to 1990. As a representative, he was elected majority Caucus administrator from 1983 to 1990. During his career, he was appointed to the Legislative Budget and Finance Committee (1977-1980), Joint Legislative Air and Water Pollution Control and Conservation Committee (1981-1982, 1985-1990). On November 11, 1995, Bernard Dombrowski died in the city of Erie, Pennsylvania.
