Biography

GINGRICH, Mauree A was a Representative from Lebanon County who was born in the city of Baltimore, Baltimore County, Md in 1946. She graduated from Lebanon Catholic High School in 1964 then attended Hershey Junior college from 1964 to 1965. She got her A.S. in medical technology from the Pennsylvania College of Medical Arts. In 1967 Gingrich became regional marketing director of Omega Medical Laboratory. Gingrich was a member of the Palmyra Civil Service Commission from 1987-1989 as well as director of marketing in Cornwall Manor from 1987-1998. She bacame the owner of Mature Market Concepts in 1998. She was elected to the council of Palmyra in 1987 and stayed on tthe council untill 2001 as president of the council from 1999-2001. She was a member of Palmyra Borough Planning Commission in 2002 then was elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 2003 term and was reelected to 6 more consecutive terms where she was appointed to the Pennsylvania Public Television Network Commission from 2003-2004, appointed to the Local Government Commission from 2005-2016, appointed the Deputy whip 2007-2008, and was not a candidate for reelection in the House for the 2016 term.
