Teresa Forcier served in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives from 1991 until 2006. She represented the 6th Legislative District of Crawford County. Forcier was born on October 6, 1953 in Meadville and attended both Alliance College and Edinboro University.

Prior to her service in the House, Forcier served as a legislative assistant for the 6th District from 1979 until 1986. In addition, she was an assistant director of the Crawford County Tax Claim Bureau. She also served as the chair for the Crawford County Poverty Task Force from 1989-1990. She was a member of a variety of groups and organizations including the Northwest Council of Republican Women, the Pennsylvania Gun Owners Association, Keystone Tall Tree Girl Scout Council, Pennsylvania Trappers Association, and Pennsylvania Landowners Association. She received the GOP Woman of the Year award in 1994 and Woman of the Year award from the Northwest Council of Republican Women in 1995.

While in the House, Forcier served as the vice chairwoman of the Game and Fisheries Committee. She was also a member of the Appropriations, Transportation, and Veteran Affairs and Emergency Preparedness Committees.

Forcier was defeated in the 2006 general election by Republican Brad Roae.
