Ron "Huck" Gamble was born January 2, 1933 in Oakdale, PA. A graduate of West Allegheny High School, Gamble was a member of the United States Marine Corps from 1953-1956. He served on the Oakdale Borough Council, serving as president from 1970 to 1976.
He was first elected to the PA House of Representatives as a Democrat in 1976, serving the 44th district in Allegheny County.
