NOYE, Fred C., a Representative from Cumberland, Juniata and Perry Counties; born in Duncannon, Perry County, Pa., May 13, 1946; graduated, Susquenita High School, 1964; A.A., Harrisburg Area Community College, 1966; B.S., Mansfield State Teachers College (now Mansfield University of Pennsylvania), 1968; M.Ed., Shippensburg State College (now Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania), 1970; teacher; chairman, Young Republicans of Perry County; chairman, Penn Township Republican Committee; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives to the 1973 term and served 9 more consecutive terms; elected, Majority Caucus Chair (1979-1982); elected, Minority Caucus Chair (1983-1992); appointed, Legislative Budget and Finance Committee (1975-1982); appointed, Joint State Government Commission (1979-1992); not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1993 term; realtor; died, February 24, 2024 in Duncannon, Perry County, Pennsylvania.
