biographical statement

House Resolution 351 established a select committee to investigate and review the policies, procedures and practices in place by the various Commonwealth agencies, authorities, boards, commissions, councils, departments and offices and the entities they license or regulate to protect the personal health, financial and other sensitive data of the citizens of the Commonwealth.

The Select Committee consisted of 28 members of the House of Representatives, 16 members from the majority party and 12 members from the minority party. The Chair was Robert Flick. The Majority members were William Adolph, Matthew Baker, Scott Boyd, Paul Clymer, Brian Ellis, Russ Fairchild, John Fichter, Will Gabig, Glenn Grell, Kate Harper, George Hasay, Jerry Nailor, Dennis O'Brien, Thomas Quigley, Douglas Reichley, and Curt Sonney. The Minority members were Ronald Buxton, Thomas Caltagirone, Gaynor Cawley, Michael Gerber, R. Ted Harhai, Joseph Markosek, John Pallone, Joseph Preston, Jr., Sean Ramaly, Josh Shapiro, John Siptroth, Thomas Tangretti, and Curtis Thomas.

After holding meetings and hearings, the Committee submitted its Final Report on November 28, 2006.
