The Speaker's Committee on Tax Reform was created to study the state and local tax structure and provide suggestions for tax reform.
The Members of the Committee were: Rep. Herbert Fineman- Chairman, Harry A. Englehart Jr.-Majority Caucus Chairman, John C. Pittenger, Joseph J. McAneny, David N. Savitt, Eugene F. Scanlon, John Hope Anderson, Alvin C. Bush- Minority Caucus Chairman, Donald W. Fox, Jack B. Horner, Charles F. Mebus.
