Pennsylvania Cable Network (PCN)
Biography
The non-profit Pennsylvania Educational Communications System (PECS) was founded on August 29, 1979 by George Barco. Yolanda Barco became president in 1990, renamed it the Pennsylvania Cable Network (PCN) and began to reposition it as the state's educational, public affairs and cultural cable TV network.
PCN is a statewide non-profit 501 c(3) cable television network. PCN is the largest statewide privately funded public affairs network in the country. The provide cabel access to state government, business, industry, institutions, and agencies of Pennsylvania.
