Adopted March 18, 2014, House Resolution 550, directing the Joint State Government Commission to establish a bipartisan legislative task force and an advisory committee to conduct a study of the occurrence, effects and trends of homelessness in Pennsylvania and to report its findings and recommendations to the House of Representatives.

Scope and Contents

HR 550 members included: Katharine M. Watson, Tarah Toohil, James Clay Jr., Ted Harhai in addition to Commonwealth Secretaries who deal with Urban Affairs, Housing and Corrections. Meetings were held in the Urban Affairs Committee and in separate task force meetings.
